A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen in a street in the Son Gotleu neighbourhood of Palma, Mallorca, at about 23:00 on Sunday 13 September 2026. Paramedics found him in cardiorespiratory arrest, restored his pulse and took him in a critical condition to Son Espases University Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery but died. National Police officers identified and arrested a suspect. The motive for the stabbing had not been made public.
